I hold a Ph.D. in applied linguistics and an M.A. in sociolinguistics and therefore specialized in social sciences, education and the humanities, although 5 years of experience in T&I with FAO in fisheries and oceanography have led to an unusual second major field of action. My third area is international relations and trade negotiations after having worked with FTAA, the OAS, IDB, etc. for many years as a conference interpreter in these field.
