Former Translation Trainee at the European Parliament in Luxembourg. I work as interpreter and translator for English, French Spanish, Italian, Serbian and Montenegrin (the last two are my mother tongues)
In order to improve my knowledge on the EU, the way it works, its policies and learn about its history, last year I enrolled at the Master in Advanced European Studies of the European College of Parma Foundation. Now I have finished all my exams and need to write my dissertation thesis on the multilingualism and immigration in the EU. This Master has given me even more knowledge than I expected. The most interesting topics for me have been the European Year of the Citizens together with their rights and Immigration.
I am a really determined, reliable and responsible person, with great organizational spirit and I always meet the deadlines, never give up when a problem arises, but struggle until I solve it. I like team work and get on very well with people.
My moto is "You'll never go to bed without learning something new".
I started as a volunteer-interpreter at the XVI Mediterranean Games in Pescara 2009 without knowing that my life was going to change at the speed of light. The following year the Students Sports Association asked me to be their freelance translator as they were organizing the VII WUC in karate and they needed someone to translate the correspondence. Couple of months later they hired me as interpreter for that specific event. I still cooperate with this association.
In 2011 Deluxe Digital Studios chose me as their intern, together with other three people from my university. I worked in the Language Services Dept for the first two months and then in the Client Services Dept as Project Manager. Given that there was the chance to become their freelance translator of subtitles, I tried the Proficiency test and passed. Up to now I have translated some episodes of Teen Wolf, Murder She Wrote and Hustle, and revised other's translations.
