Just trying to simplify the possessive forms used in this text (of a document on a credit card company's terms and conditions of use of a particular card service program):
"Cualquier responsabilidad impositiva que resulte de su participación en el Programa será de su absoluta responsabilidad, y no nuestra responsabilidad ni la responsabilidad de un Comercio, de XXX ni de la institución financiera que emitió la tarjeta XXX."
Here goes my try which I don't like:
"Any tax liability arising from your participation in the Program will be your absolute responsibility, and not be ours, the merchant’s, XXX’s or of the financial institution that issued the XXX card."
Any thoughts on this?
