English term

injunction against myself

English to Spanish Law/Patents Law (general)
Any disclosure of any of the information described above will cause irreparable harm, and as the owner of such information, I will be entitled to both a preliminary and permanent injunction against myself, its attorneys’ fees and costs, as well as any other remedy allowed by law.

Muchas gracias!

Strange wording What really puzzles me is the expression "against myself". How is that possible? If you are the owner of the info how can you be entitled to an injunction "against yourself"? What for? It seems contradictory. Hence, my first reading was to see there "against actions conducted against myself", but I now discard this option. I tend to think that "myself" comprises any employee of the company involved in the agreement, not the owner in person, but a person who is a member of the disclosing party (the undersigned!) and acts against the purpose of the agreement. Just my impression, I´m not sure.

My doubt isn't really how to translate the word injunction, but what do they mean by "injunction against myself", I don't really grasp the idea. What do they want to accomplish? Thanks!

interdicto preliminar y permanente

Injunction is a writ or an order by a court prohibiting a specific action from being carried out by a person or group. The statement start : I will..." is referring to the person itself... is tacit inferred that the individual that is making the statement is the same who is going to be affected by the action expressed. Therefore it is my opinion the most appropriate translation is " interdicto preliminar y permanente"
