: This is one time the hyphen cannot be omitted. An A-level instructor or lecturer (or teacher if at a secondary or primary school). Otherwise it sounds like an indefinite article.

Regarding my choice of 'teacher', the context does not lead to the immediate assumption that this 'profesor' is going to work in college; quite the contrary, the only requirement is a 'Licenciatura', i.e. an undergraduate degree. As for 'class', that's what 'asignatura' means in Spanish: subject-matter (History, Geography, Spanish, Math, etc.), not level.

: Ana, una licenciatura no es "undergraduate" sino un B.A. (4 o 5 años de estudios). No se de donde será el texto, pero no se exige licenciatura para dar clase en secundaria

Marina, "Licenciatura" es título de grado = *undergraduate*. Con tal título no se puede ejercer la docencia en la universidad (aunque sí en la Argentina, en algunas áreas). El contexto aquí es de secundaria, por lo que "Professor" no corresponde.

asignatura is subject clase A is level..a level professor is not idiomatic..i know asignatura is the Subject taught.and professor is only for university.

I think that rather than referring to A-levels, it's referring to the 'level' or 'grade' of teacher being employed (possibly for different salary levels).
