I am a professional writer/translator, now working freelance, with experience on three continents: Europe, South and North America. As such, I translate regularly from French, Italian and Spanish into US or UK English, as required. I am bi-lingual Spanish-English.

My speciality is translation that requires good writing.
As a former journalist, I also am an experienced researcher and am willing to take the time to ensure that a translation is accurate, as well as well-written in English without embellishment or alteration in style.
Having lived and worked in countries where my source languages are spoken and having a rich vocabulary in English (my true mother tongue), I can go beyond mere translation to express the message of the source language in English -- accurately, simply and comprehensibly. 

My interests include politics and economics (particularly development economics), the law and judicial proceedings, art and dance, literature and poetry (books, reviews, bi-lingual poetry), cinema (film scenarios, scripts), motor racing (particularly F1 and electronic racing), tourism and travel (web sites and regional guides, hotels  and restaurants), gardens and botany, animal husbandry and veterinary (particularly horses and equitation: all disciplines -- dressage, endurance, jumping, polo). 

I was born and grew up in Argentina, have lived and worked in Brazil, Italy, Switzerland,  the US and Venezuela. Today, my home is in the Cévennes, in France.
