After my relocation to the UK in Germany in 2012 I didn't only fall even more in love with the English language – and the British accent in particular – but also with the people, the culture and the sense of humour.
I worked as an in-house translator at Future Plc in Bath which was an amazing opportunity to get experience in the fast-paced world of media publishing. I translated digital and print content across a wide variety of topics: gaming, history, gardening, architecture, nutrition, sports – you name it.
This enabled me to hone my most precious skill: in-depth research in a short amount of time. Give me a topic and I will become your expert on it.
After two years in-house I started my freelance venture and have worked with many international magazine and bookazine publishers since then.
I am passionate about the magazine and media world but also have experience with website, app and book translations.
