Bio
I have started translating moved by my fascination towards films and tv series. While studying the bachelor’s degree in translation and interpreting, I learned the basis of this profession, developing a sensibility towards how cultures should be represented through audiovisual translation. My specialization went deeper in the master’s degree, that gave me a complete perspective about the audiovisual industry, a wide background in subtitle and dubbing creation and a vast knowledge of all the subtleties, and nuances between subtitle and dub localization. This motivation got me to the PhD research where I am nowadays analyzing the decision making processes that nourish the dubbing market in Spain: identifying the trends, the impact and the quality of audiovisual products.
