Bio
Trans del Mar, Inc., a small-business, minority-owned and female-owned virtual freelance translation company, was founded in 2014 by myself, Maria-del-Mar Myatt Wikkeling, a freelance linguist working out of New York City certified through ATA and ALTA Language Services. The continuous growth in my work at a contract linguist, in addition to exposure to many residents and businesses alike in New York City unable to find effective language services for an affordable cost, inspired my to branch on my own by creating a contract translation and localization company, Trans del Mar, Incorporated (TDM, Inc). I have had the privilege of assisting companies and individuals locally and abroad achieve their goals by providing translation, transcription, localization and globalization services and consulting with them on their individual communication needs. My niche of languages started out as an attribute from my diverse family heritage and transformed itself into a way contribute and create a stepping stone into the world.

Trans del Mar, Inc (TDM, Inc.) is a language translation and localization consulting company created based on the vision and mission of bridging the multitude of languages we have in our global community by providing virtual, online, one-on-one, efficient, high-quality, low-cost language and localization services to our clients in any region of the world. We make this possible by both local and international collaborations with other linguists who are freelancers, all using the convenience and speed of our world wide web.
