I am an English and Spanish to Dutch/Flemish audiovisual translator and subtitler. In 2011 I completed an MA in East Asian Languages and Civilizations with a focus on Mandarin Chinese. Since then I have lived in China and South America. Currently I am based in Antwerp, Belgium.
With over seven years of experience in translation, subtitling and editing, I offer an in-depth analysis of your material, meticulous and concentrated research, and final results tailor-made for your target audience. I work for large broadcasting and subtitling companies, as well as directly with filmmakers, content creators and other large and small businesses.
I have my own translation software (MemoQ) and subtitling software (Spot). I am also familiar with most cloud-based subtitling platforms.
