Epson by Ion Fiz es una iniciativa desarrollara por la compañía japonesa y el diseñador vasco que persigue demostrar cómo la tecnología puede ayudar a la moda a conseguir resultados espectaculares, rápidos y capaces de responder a las necesidades de la tendencia actual en moda.
La moda avanza y cambia a gran velocidad. El ritmo frenético de la tendencia hace que los diseñadores tengan que adaptar sus procesos de producción para dar una respuesta inmediata a sus necesidades. La llegada de la impresión textil digital ha hecho que muchos diseñadores encuentren una nueva forma de trabajar, una dinámica y procesos diferentes, adaptados a cortos espacios de tiempo de respuesta y personalización en tiradas de poco volumen. Asimismo, la relocalización del textil se vuelve un fenómeno cada vez más presente en el mundo de la moda, donde el diseñador busca tener el mayor control posible desde la creación del boceto hasta la confección final de sus diseños.
La colección
La colección de moda “Epson by Ion Fiz” se compone de una línea de estampados y creaciones del diseñador vasco en las que se ha utilizado el sistema de impresión digital textil de Epson. Ion Fiz, coincidiendo con su 15 Aniversario den el mundo de la moda, aceptó el reto de Epson de crear una colección exclusiva que se produciría con la serie SureColor SC-F de sublimación y se presentaría en tres etapas concretas: Mercedes Madrid Fashion Week 2017, C! Print 2017 y el evento de celebración de su aniversario en Bilbao. Precisamente esta última etapa incluyó un desfile realizado en el Museo Guggenheim de Bilbao donde se pudo contemplar sus últimas propuestas de alta costura caracterizadas por su estilo atrevido, fortaleza, feminidad y carácter único, elementos que definen el estilo del joven creador.

The Collection
The Epson by Ion Fiz fashion collection consists of a line of prints and creations produced by Epson's digital textile printing system and designed by Basque designer Ion Fiz. Coinciding with his 15th Anniversary in the world of fashion, Ion Fiz accepted Epson's challenge to create an exclusive collection that would be produced with the SureColor SC-F sublimation series and presented at three specific events: Mercedes-Benz Madrid Fashion Week 2017, C! Print 2017, and the designer's anniversary party in Bilbao. This very last event included a fashion show held at Bilbao's Guggenheim Museum, where the designer's latest haute couture designs could be seen; designs characterized by their daring style, strength, femininity, and unique character—elements that define the young creator's style.
