I'm an American ex-pat freelance writer, teacher, and Spanish to English translator based in Veracruz, Mexico, where I live with my husband, our daughter, two dogs, and an assortment of insects that regularly find their way into my home.
My background is in teaching ESL and social science courses, and I am an adept exam writer and evaluator of both teachers and students. I am fully bilingual and enjoy translating stories, poetry, and instructional material. I have been translating since 2013.
I am currently translating a young adult novel from Spanish to English. I also regularly proofread and edit academic papers for publication in English.
