Translating a legal document means making understandable and/or enforceable important facts, binding agreements or decisions which can affect your rights or the ones of your clients. During my long term carrier in the legal field, I realised that an unclear or inaccurate translation may cause a contract clause to be questionable, an evidence ineffective or a decision unenforceable, giving rise to unwanted or unexpected results and costs. That's why is important to choose a specialist for your legal translation. I am an Italian lawyer linguist and had been practising as attorney-at-law (avvocato) for 14 years in Treviso (near Venice - Italy). I graduated in Law at the University of Padua with a thesis in comparative law and obtained, at the same University, a postgraduate Master in International Litigation (LL.M.). Through several experiences of study and traineeship in foreign countries (Germany, England, France), and courses on legal terminology, I have been deepening my knowledge of foreign languages and specialising in private international law, international commercial law and EU-law. From 2012 to 2019 I have been a freelance translator for the Court of Justice of the European Union. Since 2002 I have made several sworn translations for German, English, French into Italian and viceversa.

I collaborated as author or co-author in some law magazines and handbooks in Italy and held presentations on international law (in German, English and French) in several lawyers' Meetings. Since January 2020 I have been working for a EU Institution in Luxembourg. I am available for translation and proofreading from German, French, English, Dutch and Spanish into Italian.
