I am a Mexican translator with four years experience mainly in the legal and technical fields but have had the opportunity of working on medical and pharmaceutical (general), marketing, human resources, finance, insurance, intermodal, certificates (birth, marriage, divorce, diplomas, school grades, etc.) among others.

I am able to translate over 2,500 words/day and my rate is 0.07-0.10 dollars/word.

Part of my experience involves a project I worked on with an agency in Israel on the translation of a NOM (Mexican Official Norm) from the Mexican Energy Ministry from Spanish into English. While working on the translation I was also asked to make other translations, different from the original project, and to work and edit the glossary all the translators used. Overall I translated +80,000 words in a two months period.

On going basis I work with several translation agencies in Mexico on various projects, mainly legal, technical and clinical trials translating English-Spanish-English.

On regular basis I attend translation workshops regarding medical, legal, human resources, patents, etc., (at least two-three per year).
