I have a suggestion of a program that is very handy for me. It's a corpus maker called AntConc.
It's useful for specialized translations, to gather a lot of texts of a specific topic and see with the glimpse of an eye how one term/sentence has been translated/written before. One example could be recipes: you download 500 of them from the internet (for example) and then you can do a quick search and see how frequent one combination of words...
