Our company, Green Crescent, LLC, which you can peruse at https://www.greencrescent.com/, was founded in 2003 and has provided language services in over 100 languages to organizations large and small around the world.

I am the co-founder and senior project manager at Green Crescent as well as a creative language professional with a demonstrated history of working in the translation and localization industry in coordination with the language departments of large corporations, other language services providers as well as for all manner of businesses, government entities and NGOs in the interest of providing optimal language services to meet the needs of our clients.

As a language professional and representative of a public facing language services company, I particularly enjoy working as an adjunct project manager and language services SME for private sector companies, NGOs and government entities that need additional special subject matter expertise in order to solve particularly challenging problems of organization, establishing protocols, choosing technologies, hiring personnel and budgeting or for organizations that just need to bring in an established professional to oversee a difficult or time consuming project.

Since 2003, I have traveled to over 50, mostly developing, nations from Haiti and the Caribbean to Central and South America to Africa and to East and Southeast Asia working on various projects in both the language services and IT fields.

My particular area of language expertise is in the English to Spanish language pair and I can be a tremendous asset for clients looking to communicate with Spanish speakers in the United States and Mexico with the utmost precision. 

I am fluent in both English and Spanish and have deep ties to Mexico having studied Spanish at Mexico’s famous Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) also known as Monterrey Institute of Technology, in English. I have possessed a permanent resident visa and work permit for Mexico for since 2005 and can handle any project that requires an on-site specialist in Mexico.

In addition to my specialized language experience, I possess a dual master’s degree in Public Affairs and Latin American Studies (M.P.Aff. / M.A.) from the University of Texas at Austin.  In as much, I feel especially at home translating complex documents in the area of government, public policy and social science as well as legal documents and contracts of all varieties.

As a practical matter, I work every day on a personal, face-to-face basis with a team of long-time collaborators and we greatly compliment one another's work.

I am a dual citizen of the United States and Europe (via Italy) and can seamlessly work with organizations within the United States and the European Union in any capacity.
