Pelvic pain is common in pregnant women and involves pain in the posterior pelvic joints (SI joints) and/or the anterior pelvic joints (symphysis). To this day, the terms jointlessness or pelvic dislocation are still used when talking about pelvic pain, which tends to scare women unnecessarily.
Nothing is broken
In pelvic pain, there is no loosening or relaxation, nothing is broken and the pain in the pelvis is not dangerous.
