Bio
My name is Marcus Dionte Scott. In May of 2011 I graduated cum laude from Carthage College, majoring in Mandarin Chinese and minoring in Japanese. I received a 3.8 GPA in my major, and also received a certificate for Advanced Chinese at the Beijing Language and Culture University。
I am passionate about doing translation work; It is not merely a job to me, it is also a hobby. My translations are high quality. I have successfully done English to Chinese, English to Japanese and Chinese to English translations, though I my focus is Chinese to English translations. I have proofread the English theses of both Chinese and Japanese teachers, edited the articles of Chinese and Japanese colleagues added subtitles to parts of movies, and I have done translations for an international company as well as translation agencies. My translations have covered subjects concerning cosmetics, engineering, economics, , newspaper articles and company introductions, among others.
I finish my work on time, I take the proofreading and editing of my work very seriously, and I try to keep in contact with a client at least once or twice a day, just to make sure they know what is going on. I would be honored to do translations for you, and I promise to give nothing less than the highest quality translations.
I also have a personal website for those in need of my services. Feel free to look through it, and thank you for taking time to read my profile
