Geology
The regional geology consists of a series of volcanic domes, overlain by lava flows, which have formed the outcropping rim of a caldera. Volcanic activity resulted in the brecciation (volcanic fracturing) of the rocks, providing conduits and traps for circulating mineralised fluids. As a result, mineralisation comprises a high sulphidation epithermal system formed at relatively shallow depth. Remnant zones of silification and brecciation contain the gold and silver mineralisation which once capped the system. The siliceous layer is shallow dipping, ranging from 10m to 75m in thickness and averaging approximately 45m.

: All of the replies would work, but I like 'rios de lava sobreyacentes' in the flow of Spanish that I think I would use to render this technical-but-flowing English description. My two-bits worth. Cheers, All!
