Depende del contexto, si está hablando de la región de New Hampshire, en español lo más común es decir "de tal ciudad y alrededores". No creo que sea correcto decir "y más allá" que equivaldría a traducción literal. Si refiere a otros lugares fuera de la región de New Hampshire, quizás esté bien la traducción propuesta "y otros lugares" porque es más genérica.
