Estoy traduciendo un documento para mi mismo (no me atrevería a cobrar) del inglés al español y he encontrado esta expresión tan común en estos ambitos.

Tengo 'idioma/lengua destino/meta/de llegada' como posibles traducciones y 'idioma destino' es la que me suena mejor.

Al igual que la persona que introduce el término, en los textos de traducción yo creo que se hablaba de lengua de llegada/destino. Personalmente creo que, auque los términos lengua meta o lengua destino sean completamente válidos, se está forzando la lengua ya que el uso de un sustantivo adjetivando no es la estructura común del español, por lo que no suena natural, cuando sí lo haría con un sintagma preposicional como "de llegada, de origen, de destino ..."
