I don't think the term I want is 'sostenibilita'. It is more to do with the mission statement, the ethos of a hotel, that they care for the environment, ie use local produce, green products etc. In French I'd use souci de l'environment.

I have no need to read the definition to write it here, because I am exactly one of those person *concerned* about ecosostenibility
that tries to calculate (and balance!!!) the global environmental effect of each human activity
(a easy example is the calculation of the environmental cost of washing glasses/bowls/pans etc by hand or by using an energy saving program on the washing machine: a dilemma not so easy to solve!)
it's the new horizon of ecology :)

and we need to consider (and calculate it) before deciding what to do, what to eat, what to buy
