The problem is that all the words suggested (well, cistern, reservoir, tank) could be large, industrial and ugly, and some have other meanings. Reservoir can be small (such as in an electric coffee pot, to hold water) or very large (the lake impounded behind a dam). Cisterns can be plastic things on top of houses, or underground and made of stone, but are not usually beautiful in any case.
The most likely is water well, if the beautiful ceramic tiles were used for the exterior or the edging where the well comes above ground.

Creo que tenés que dejarlo com aparece,water well sería lo más parecido pero ni lejos evoca lo que es un aljibre. Se podría describir en incluir que tiene un "underground reservoir". Suerte!!

Holding tank.
If the well water is pumped into an elevated tank so that it will feed by gravity to point of use. Large ones, as for a large building or whole neighborhood, are called "standpipes". This is called a "tinaco" in Mexico. All other references I have seen to "aljibes" are to true cisterns.
