Below are the requirements for the resources needed :

Native in the required language - Level of English: C1 level
Only for US-based OPIs: Reside in the US with valid legal identification
Minimum 1 year of experience in the interpretation field and a medical interpretation certificate.
Computer: Windows 10 or newer with an i3 processor or above. Minimum 4 GB RAM (8GB recommended).
Stable and fast internet connection (Ethernet connection recommended). Internet speed of 10Mbps Download/Upload.
A noise-canceling wired USB headset.

Budget

Spanish-English US-Based OPIs with Picsi or Alta: USD 0.15 per interpretation minute.
Spanish-English Offshore OPIs with Picsi: USD 0.05 per interpretation minute.
Mandarin or Cantonese-English US-Based OPIs with Picsi: USD 0.26 per interpretation minute.
Portuguese-English US-Based OPIs with Picsi: USD 0.17 per interpretation minute.
Haitian Creole-English US-Based OPIs with Picsi: USD 0.20 per interpretation minute.
Arabic-English US-Based OPIs with Picsi: USD 0.21 per interpretation minute.
Japanese-English Offshore OPIs: USD 0.15 per interpretation minute.
Foo Chow-English Offshore OPIs: USD 0.15 per interpretation minute.
Russian/Ukrainian Offshore OPI/VRI: USD 4 per log hour.
Please note that OPI means (over the phone interpretation) , while (VRI) means Video Remote Interpretation.

Picsi or Alta referring to specific language proficiency certifications or qualifications for the Over-the-Phone Interpreters based in the United States.
