My name is Maria Paz and I've been a simultaneous interpreter for 9 years now. I'm also a translator and work in different fields. I'm from Chile and absolutely LOVE this job because it lets me travel -not now of course, thanks COVID-19- and I learn a about many topics, which contribute to my expertise and knowledge. I'm a member of COTICH (Chilean Association of Translators & Interpreters) and when I was a child I lived for 4 years in North Carolina (U.S.), therefore I am quite open-minded and take cultural factors very serious when working, since they are an important part of our job in communicating.
