Trados 2021: Add a new file as a translation draft Thread poster: Stefania Bisanti

Hi everyone, I'm moving to Trados an old translation project I had started to do before I had it. Is there a way to upload the English file so that it appears and syncs as the translation of the original file? I'm manually copy pasting every segment right now and I wondered if there was an automatic way to do it. If I understood you correctly, I believe you need to align both files and create a TM. This way, you avoid to copy and paste each segment. I hope it helps! Here's a video that shows you how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9DGXVHkeYk
