The easiest way to go back and forth between English and several languages is to set your keyboard to U.S. International. To get accents over your vowels you just hit the ' and the vowel or the `, ~, etc. and the vowel. To get those signs themselves you hit them and then the space bar. The ¿ and ¡ are Alt ? and !.

la tecla que tiene + e =
Hola Nuni,
En mi teclado que tiene las teclas en inglés pero lo tengo determinado en español es la tecla que está junto a backspace, o sea la que tiene el + arriba y el = abajo. Así no tienes que poner Alts, que son muy latosos.

Además si vas a utilizar mucho los caracteres especiales, puedes instalar (si usas Windows) un programa shareware que se llama Keys. Con esta utilería puedes redefinir todo tu teclado a tu gusto con combinaciónes de SHIFT, CTRL, ALT etc.

Otra forma de escribir en español sin problemas es escribir en MS DOS "keyb sp"
Cuando vivía en el Tirol italiano tenía que escribir textos bastante largos en italiano, alemán y español. Si sólo se trata de un documento pequeño, se puede recurrir a los códigos ascii, pero si la longitud es mayor, te aconsejo que escribas "keyb sp" para el español, "keyb it" para el italiano, "keyb gr" para el alemán, "keyb fr" para el francés... aunque, claro, debes acostumbrarte a la nueva posición de las teclas.
