Spanish term or phrase: nudo mallado
In a specification from Spain for translation to American English describing parts of an electricity transmission network:
"El acceso solicitado se plantea en un nudo inicialmente no mallado de la red de transporte."
Where there is a definition of "nudo mallado" in "«BOE» núm. 131, de 02 de junio de 2021":
"Nudo mallado: barra o conjunto de barras del mismo nivel de tensión de una subestación en que se conectan tres o más líneas o, si se dispone de transformación a ese nivel desde un nivel de tensión superior, dos o más líneas."

This text mentions the negative, "nudo no mallado", which I assume would be obvious from the positive sense, but if you think otherwise, I would be interested in that too.
