Authors Explanation: I think it just means the authors. In Spanish, they talk about "artes plásticos": Plastic arts are art forms which involve physical manipulation of a plastic medium by moulding or modeling, such as sculpture or ceramics. Less often the term may be used broadly for all the visual arts (such as painting, sculpture, film and photography), as opposed to literature and music. I spent half of that time translating for museums and galleries from Spanish to English. "Autores" in this case would be someone who has authored a work, but it would not refer to writers. "Plásticos," as someones else mentioned here, refers to artists who work with artistic materials. We don't really use the term "plastic" in English to refer to artists, although according to Merriam-Webster, this would be possible. At least in Latin America, most visual artists refer to themselves as "artista plástica," but an "autor plástico" would be possible. I paste an example of the use of "artista plástica" below.
