Mother, May I?

English to Spanish Other Education / Pedagogy children\'s game
This is a game where the child asks the person in front permission to take ___ (however many) steps toward him or her. They can't just move forward or just say how many steps. They have to say, "Mother, May I" and receive permission first.

Is there a game like this in Spanish, and if so, what is it called? Target audience is Spanish speakers in the U.S. (mostly from Mexico, but we have them from Spain and other places, too).
