colored pencils Explanation: Aniline refers to the die, but analina can refer to products made with that die for coloring. Since it's a drawing, I'd go with colored pencils. |

aniline crayons Explanation: The reference is from a paintor. I tried aniline-based crayons (as I think it's what it is) but got no hits. But simply googling images you see this is it. Hope it helps. Reference: http://www.arturdesiro.com/Biographie#/Page+Accueil-Contents... |

colour dyes Explanation: I'm going with this. I imagine this is being added to the sand. http://mitiendadearte.com/manualidades/pinturas/tintes/anili... http://manualidades.innatia.com/c-batik/a-anilinas-para-bati... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2014-05-10 16:11:04 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Yes, coloured rather than colour as Mary suggests. But why do we call them "coloured" - they are coloured by definition aren't they?! Another mystery. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 hrs (2014-05-10 17:50:04 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Excellent observation and suggestion from Charles: *water-based / aniline dyes in a range of colours* |
