It talks about articulation, but does it have a different meaning apart from the literal one? "He sometimes exhibits lips in spontaneous speech; however, it does not decrease his speech intelligibility." Thanks a lot.

I meant "exhibits lisps". It could also be "exhibits lisp", which might appear in file notes, dropping the article (indefinte "a lisp" or definïte "the lisp").
