las definiciones que cita nuestra colega son buenas, pero me parece que muestran que se trata de bonos y no fianzas (que serían surety bonds mientras que aquí serían instrumentos de deuda).

Además, la SEC no regula la emisión de fianzas mientras que sí regula la emisión de bonos.
