Sua alma, anima, soul,
Já livre do cansativo ofício
De verter
Vai direta pro céu, in cielo, to the
heaven, au ciel, in caelum, zum himmel,
Ou pro inferno – Hölle – dos grandes

Ou um tradutor será considerado

ou latim?
Ou ficará infinitamente
No infinito
Até ouvir a Voz, Voix, Voce, Voice.
Stimme, Vox,
Do Supremo Mistério
Partindo do Além

Thank you, Ana, what a beautiful, clever poem!

I don't speak Portuguese (neither European, nor Brazilian), but I can read it a little, and I think I got what the poet says.

I can "hear" the music of the palavras. I really enjoyed this gem of a poem and I'm saving it in my special folder dedicated to poetry.
