multiple overlapping tracks
We're looking at data on the different sign left by a bird.
"10 scratches, 10 tracks + 3 areas of multiple overlapping tracks + 6 isolated tracks"
"Scratching" is a foraging behavior performed by birds
Any further context and/or images (if available) would be great, as the difference between "huellas" and "huellas aislados" is hard to tell from the info given.

perches
Could it be a typo for "posaderos" ?

pisadero.1. m. rur. Arg. y Ur. Lugar donde se pisa el barro para la fabricación de adobe (pero en este caso, los pajaritos no fabricaban adobe, sino se congregaban en busca de alimento)

PS: If "bebedero is "Paraje donde acuden a beber las aves", then "pisadero" will be the place they all hang about (Paraje donde acuden a pisar el suelo las aves)...

Neil Ashby
: It passed through my mind as well "pisa", but then what are "huellas"?

They are describing different track marks left by birds or similar creatures... if the asker post it separately, I'll have a stab at it, but right now I have 5K to finish myself for tomorrow...

: a collection of footprints, in fact.

Jeffrey Jankowski
: "Footprints" would never be used in this context. When referring to wildlife, the correct term is "tracks".

communal roosts
A pisadero (human) is covered with footprints. A communal roost would be the same.

Jeffrey Jankowski
: It is important to note that the context is the sign left by an animal, while roost refers to a location, not to sign (although there will always be sign where many birds gather together).

In my answer, the presence of repeated sign is implied, pretty clearly, I think. It does make me think of the old colloquialism: "stomping grounds."

areas with repeated prints
They're comparing different levels of bird tracks that have been found in different areas of ground, right? So something like "10 tracks, 10 prints + 3 areas with repeated prints + 6 single isolated prints" might make sense?
Something went wrong...
