Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering
Re valves please see below thanks

Una vez completadas las pruebas, se procederá a franquear la Gate 2, y si ello sucede satisfactoriamente se lanzará la fabricación de prototipos del resto de DNs las cuales ya incorporarán las mejoras detectadas en los primeros prototipos, para posteriormente pasar a homologar la válvula externamente (clientes, certificadores, etc...).

Gate 2 will be negotiated

carried out or negotiated (meaning to pass through a gate)

we will proceed to...

This particular translation is complicated because the word "franquear" has more acceptations in Spanish than its English equivalents and because of the use of passive voice.

In this case, I think "franquear" could be translated as "proceed to" instead of "go through". Therefore, the translation would be something like:

Once trials are completed, we/the team/the developers will proceed to Gate 2, and if that

Using we, the team or the developers would depend on who is the author of that particular document (e.g. if the writer is a journalist, you could use "the developers", "the team", or other equivalent).

Hope that helps.
