I´m reviewing a book and I just wanted to know if you´d give me some ideas on the following:
The context:
"Sperm banks, surrogate mothers, **Hollywood glamorization of the spirit of whoredoms**, porn queens, herpes, AIDS, and condoms -not celibacy- are normal in an abnormal society."
The translator translated it as:
"...la presentación comercial del espíritu de prostitución".
I don´t think it´s incorrect, but I think I´m looking for more "glamour" in this phrase. Do you think that´s possible?
Does any other idea come to your mind?

It is interesting to note that the author has chosen the word "whoredoms", plural. He or she seems to be referring to the various ways in which sex is cheapened or sold (promiscuity, adultery, casual sex), not just prostitution as such. The use of the qualifier "spirit" also suggests this interpretation. For that reason, you might want to consider using a more inclusive term for "prostitución"... maybe "sexo fácil" or "sexo sin escrúpulos"?
