Solid stuff Hello! From the list it appears the things they make are solid, possibly of fibre-glass, or teak and stainless steel, either way permanent fixtures. Perhaps cockpit roof would suit see:http://www.poolyachts.de/verkauf/Catamaran-Voyage-440-Mallor...
Lisa Mann (asker) Oct 16, 2009:
type of boat Hi Peter - this is just a list of the types of things they do for boat owners, so the boat with the fly deck is not necessarily the same boat as the one with the techo de bañera de popa - but you're thinking about the use of "cover" has set my research off in a new direction - thanks!
Peter Guest Oct 15, 2009:
motor boat motor boats with fly decks do not usually have cockpit covers, generally the upper decking is extended and makes a kind of roof. Techo usually refers too something solid and fixed. cover usually refers to something removable. More context is needed to provide a reliable suggestion.

disagree Peter Guest : Having looked at the linked page, cockpit cover is certainly wrong. the term in Spanish is lona, a removable canvas awning

In view of the discussion, I suggest "cockpit tarpaulin"
