This term appears in an email (South America). There is a dispute concerning an email which may or may not have given consent for a shipping agreement to be signed:

"Francamente el ok que recibimos no se presta a ninguna malinterpretacion. Mail se doblo de una llamada y para nosotros no habia mas que decir."

I'm not sure whether the email was instead of a phone call or as well as a phone call and I guess there's quite a big difference between the two options! Thank you in advance for any help.
