Hi, I have translated a file that originally was in Word 2007, but I only have Word 2003, so it shows a dialogue box warning that certain changes would be made to file format. No problem so far, I have translated the doc and shows both source and translated text. I have noticed that the doc is stored as a regular Word doc (.doc) and not .ttx or others. I have about 10 files with the same problem, and need to clean them up and submit to client ASAP!! Carlos, You mean you have translated it in TagEditor and it does not show the ttx extension? If you have only Office 2003 you can still download a compatibility package from MS for free. It's called something like fileconverter.exe I might help you deal with you compatibility issues as TagEditor needs the original app to save the target. Also, if for any reason you don't download this package, I would recommend opening the file in Word and saving it in the doc form... You could try the macro. It's a real life-saver sometimes. I don't have Word 2003 in this computer, so I'm gonna have to trust my memory to direct you. If I recall correctly, you have to select tools - macros - scroll down to the macro called something like "tw4win.clean" and hit run. Good luck! Valeria
