Born in the USSR and trained in Russia and Mexico, I’ve always had a thing for languages, with English and Spanish holding a special place in my heart next to my native Russian. At the same time, I’ve enjoyed tinkering with computers ever since I got my hands on my first clunker of a PC. So, after a long stint as a freelance and in-house translator, I came to the natural conclusion that my true passion lied right where language and technology meet: translation and localization project management! This is what I love doing, what I’m good at, and what I’ve been doing for many years, building up experience and confidence to set sail under the flag of The Sensus Team in 2021. It goes without saying that I still love getting my hands dirty practicing translation and editing… but whatever I do, I feel grateful for every single chapter of my life—and I’m undeniably excited about this one!
