In 2000 I finished a double BA in Translation and Applied Linguistics with English and French (New Bulgarian University, Sofia, Bulgaria) and I went on to do a Mater in Translation and Interpreting (2002, New Bulgarian University, Sofia, Bulgaria). In 2010 I became a Doctor in Linguistics by Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, Groningen, the Netherlands and a Doctor in Multilingual Communication by Univesitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain.
My native language is Bulgarian and I have a near native proficiency in English, Spanish and Catalan. Although I am also proficient in French, Italian and Russian and I recently started learning Dutch, I focus on translations from English/Catalan/Spanish to Bulgarian and Bulgarian to Spanish/Catalan.
