Sheet piling
Before installation all pile sections are placed on the deck of the barge in one layer. The piling rig picks up the lower section of the pile with. The pile is lifted in one point and pulled into the piling helmet. Hereafter the pile is positioned in the right position and lowered to the sea bed. The pile is fixed in the vertical position by pile guides at the foot of the leader and by the piling helmet at the hammer.
The piling rig, with its hydraulically adjustable leader and the hydraulic hammer guided along a fixed leader, will secure that all piles are vertical during the installation process.
