The literal translation will be saqueado, as when someone breakes into a third party house, or the cops are searching a house or so, and everything is upside down and a disaster... in the context though, I will go for the less literal way, and I will tend toward "patas arriba", as in totally untidy with things everywhere, just like any children will end up leaving a place after a while with no supervision...
