Parece en realidad el equivalente en España al número de colegiación. Se trata de un médico residente, con lo que ya es médico -aunque se encuentre realizando una especializacion- y como tal es razonable precisar de un identificador formal en tanto que médico legalmente registrado. En Reino Unido el equivalente sería tal vez un (medical doctor) registration number aunque no lo traduciría en este caso dado que puede generar confusión -y hacer pensar que el demandante está registrado como medico en el Reino Unido.

As suggested by Mónica Colangelo, Ficha Municipal número x podría ser una opción razonable. La identificación formal de un sujeto en Buenos Aires mediante DNI, Ficha Municipal y CUIL no resulta extraña. Las referencias a FM en tanto que tal sí son numerosas. La indicación del número de ficha municipal del GCBA (Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires) parece opción así plausible y ajustada a contexto.

  -> Ya ;) Era sólo una sugerencia de sentido, ya que las respuestas dada en referencia a facultad de medicina parecían erradas. Y sin embargo mis propias refs son escasas y poco convincentes y la búsqueda posterior no ha dado frutos. Ni siquiera sin rima :)

  -> Yes, I know. I have found too few and not clear enough references. As for translation I did include one suggestion in my initial answer: (medical) registration number. As Mónica suggests it might refer to a (non-medical) registration number after all.
