PAINT TECHNIQUE
Hi, I'm looking for a translation for GRILLING; it seems to be a type of paint technique for headphones made of PC+ABS material, and I'm totally distraught here :(
I believe the original source was Mandarin and was translated to English using a dictionary by someone who was not a true translator. Please help!!!
THIS IS THE CONTEXT:
To protect the Headset perfectly, PC+ABS material has been used as the coat which must be crafted with the procedure of 3 times coating and 3 times grilling to ensure the isolation of the raw color material from the air, so that the color will be bright and durable.
THANKS, GUYS!

curado en horno
Por el contexto indicado, podría ser "curado en horno". Se suele hacer pasar las piezas pintadas por un horno para acelerar el curado de la pintura y/o conseguir la dureza y resistencia óptimas de dicha pintura.

They meant "heating". It's a similar process with glazing ceramics, and usually requires exposing the coating to a high temperature that essentially welds it into the material under it.
But unlike glazing ceramics, you don't "fire" plastics or electronics because the temperatures would melt the headphones almost instantly (we're talking upwards of 800-1200 degrees F for a kiln-fire, as opposed to something close to 200 degrees F, max, for paint).
Hope this helps.
