PERL Explanation: I am a veterinary surgeon having studied the whole career in Spanish. PINR is definitely as others have said a commonly used abbreviation for Pupilas isocóricas y normoreactivas. This means both pupils have the same size and that they react normally (constricting) to light. The English Acronym is PERL (Pupils Equal and Reactive to Light). However, I have also seen the words normoreactive and isochoric used in ophtalmological texts in English so surely just translating word by word would be fine too. If you want the abbreviation, though, the English equivalent would be PERL. Example sentence(s):
