Here is an example of a soft number. The temperature this same day next month will be a high of 78 degrees. Thats a soft number based on calculations and forecasts. It may happen or it may not.

Any number past tense or future that is difficult to verify is SOFT, while HARD numbers are absolute.

Lo entiendo distinto que el compañero. Para mí es un número programable que quienes están a cargo del encaminamiento de llamadas deben conocer. El adjetivo «soft» se usa con mucha frecuencia para decir que no es fijo sino que puede definirse o cambiarse según las necesidades.
