I am unsure about “encrespados” in the third which I have translated as “curling towards..”
Any suggestions for improvement would be more than welcome!
Thank you all so much!

My attempt: English (American English, please)
What do we do with a tract of land as complex as this one? We were (immersed/steeped) in a sea of doubt dealing with such an expanse (of land) set on a steep slope, making it complicated to design around the available and usable space.
We opted to design and construct a building in which the supporting walls/barriers and the concrete slabs are adapted to the complexity of the land, and whose graded vertical form provides an increase in floor space in each succeeding upper floor.
The irregular volumes, placed haphazardly, move forward **curling ** towards the horizon, gaining space on each floor.

curving
I think "curving" would be better in this case as it is talking about a hard structure that is moving, as opposed to a soft one. Generally, we tend to say that walls, for example, "curve" in a particular direction.
Note from asker:
Thanks Michael. I think you are right. Curling sounds more like "hair" (smile!). Valid suggestion and I thank you. |
