Spanish term or phrase: no es menor aventura

I read this initially as "is no less an adventure" (as if it were comparing this to some other action). But, in fact, there is no action that it is compared to. Does it mean something more like: "It is no small undertaking to have established ..."?

How does that sound? I assume the text is describing a past achievement rather than a future challenge.

I think an alternative with "achievement" would be "is no small achievement", rather than "mean achievement".

Also, a much more informal version could be "is nothing to be sniffed at", but I think "is no mean feat" fits best in this case.
